Micronet Roll Forming (MRF)

Micronet Roll Forming (MRF - also known as "Manufacturing") has been developed by Micronet for continuous roll forming manufacturers and distributors, including those for steel roofing products, purlins, fascias, guttering and fencing products. MRF links to our industry standard (and proven) Micronet Distribution System (MDS) and financial management/accounting modules to provide a total multi-user/multi-tasking integrated software solution.

MRF incorporates the following main functions:

Inventory management	Inventory control of fixings, fasteners and accessories Inventory control for individual steel rolls by date received and BHP coil number Integrated purchase order entry module with order by tonnes/display in lineal metres Store any special work instructions or product details per item Storage of anticipated lineal metres upon receipt of steel coils, manufacturing usage and waste to provide individual coil yield analysis inquiries and reports
Sales order processing	Create and recall customer quotes and process orders Order processing in lineal metres with optional pricing in square metres Log customer committed delivery dates for customer orders and manufacturing scheduling Ability to warn at production time if approaching near the end of any coil at order entry time Stores individual customer pricing, discount levels, delivery instructions, sales tax and credit details Comprehensive salesperson commission module Take customer deposits and process payments at the point of order/sale
Manufacturing	Storing and tracking of steel rolls by batch/serial number from receipt and right through the manufacturing process Search for current production commitments by date, customer, order number, etc Option to allocate from coil stock or offcuts Option to track and create waste, seconds or excess manufactured products Track operator performance against production, waste and offcuts accrued Optional kitting (Bill of Materials - BOM) for sales/assembly of kit homes, sheds, garages, fencing packs, etc.
Coil stock yield analysis	One of the strengths of the MRF system is its ability to track a coil from receipt through to it being finally marked for completion and removed from your system. Each time a coil is received, allocated to job tickets, adjusted manually, adjusted through stocktakes and finally removed as completed, MRF will maintain an audit register of the coil movements for you.
Accounting	Integrated Debtors Ledger Integrated multi-divisionalised open 24 month General Ledger Integrated Creditors Ledger Integrated GST/BAS sub-system Integrated purchase order and optional import costing management.
Security	Comprehensive security is provided via user ID tables where you can limit the tasks a user can perform Create custom menus that can be assigned to each operator or office group (ie: sales menus, manufacturing menus, inquiry menus, etc Full audit tracking of critical operator tasks and security overrides Customers can be put on hold and have credit limits set Each product group can have minimum acceptable sales margins before order can proceed
Reporting	The reporting system within MRF allows you to generate a variety of inquiries and reports at any time. When printing reports, the selection criteria can be entered for the report. Most inquiry screen layouts and reports can be user defined to print alternative information. Although the Micronet software series contains over 200 reports, it may be necessary for the operator to make up a specific report. To achieve this, MRF comes complete with a built-in ad-hoc Report Generator.
